Our Training - Outside of the NHS we think we offer the best training to new staff of any care and support provider in the North East.
We offer a six week induction package for all new staff this usually includes training in the following areas (may vary slightly depending on client need) and is in addition to supporting you to complete your care certificate.
All of our sessions are taught and we do not use any form of E learning as we feel its important to be supported by trained and qualified staff and be given the opportunity to share your experiences with colleagues and to ask questions

We invest heavily in training as we think it makes a real difference. I've worked with dozens of organisations and I don't know any other care company that trains as much and as often as we do. It costs us a lot of money but a few hours of e learning is just not enough...
I'm really proud of the training we do It gives staff a much wider understanding of the why's and how's of what we do... It helps keep staff safe and reduces frustration amogst staff as they know why the people we support react in the way they do and learn how to deal with it .
